❄️ This isn't just a vase; it’s a jewelled piece of German starlight that looks like it was plucked straight from a winter garden in Bavaria✨
 
❄️ This spectacular vessel is made of heavy, 24% lead crystal, giving it a magnificent weight and a ring like a cathedral bell when tapped.
 
❄️ The sides are deep-cut with architectural frosted leaves that swirl upward, cradling a vibrant ruby-red flower that seems to bloom eternally within the glass.
 
❄️ The design features deep-cut petals that swirl upward in a 3D effect, giving the flower a spectacular sense of movement.
 
❄️ The vibrant colour is achieved through ruby flashing, where a thin layer of red glass is applied over the clear crystal and then carved away to reveal the flower.
 
❄️ The gold sticker proudly wears the word "Handarbeit," meaning it was "worked by hand" with the kind of dainty precision only a master glass-cutter could achieve.
 
❄️ This vase was born in the legendary furnaces of Anna Hütte, a name that carries the weight of centuries of German craftsmanship.
 
❄️ The Glass-Making Forest ✨
 
 The Anna Hütte foundry was located in the Bavarian Forest, a region famous for turning sand and fire into jewelled treasures since the Middle Ages.
 
❄️The 24% Standard ✨
 
 This vase is made of Bleikristall (lead crystal), specifically the high-quality 24% PbO variety. This specific chemical recipe is what allows the glass to refract light into those spectacular rainbows you see when the sun hits it.
 
❄️ A Mid-Century Classic ✨
 
 While the foundry has ancient roots, this specific floral-etched style became a magnificent staple of high-end European homes in the late 20th century. It was designed to bring a "pop" of German elegance to sunny Australian tables.
 
❄️ The End of an Era ✨
 
Sadly, like many of the great European crystal houses, the original Anna Hütte production has largely ceased, making pieces with their original gold and red labels true heirlooms for modern collectors.
 
 
The vase is in pristine condition with the original sticker.
