🧚✨ This whimsical bowl was born during a time when cheer was the most valuable commodity—the era of the Great Depression. The clever sorcerers (Hocking & Jeanette) decided that if times were grey, the dishes should be blindingly bright!
They produced these wonderful, simple pieces to be both affordable and instantly uplifting.
🧚✨ But the true magic lies within: they secretly imbued the glass mix with a small amount of uranium dioxide. This wasn't for danger, but for durability and that intense, unforgettable hue. This bowl is a relic of resilience, designed to bring a little defiant sunshine to the American kitchen.
